Are there dangers and side effects to Homeopathic HCG treatment?

Frequently Asked Questions

When you start your treatment many questions may arise. These questions are addressed below. If you have others please ask the Nurse or Doctor treating you.

1. How will I feel?

When you start any diet, you have decided to undergo the procedure because of a conscious decision. However, your conscious decision to certain regulatory centres in your brain, generated at your brain cortex, have no meaning. For those centres ( the hypothalamus) what you eat, and how to administer the ingested food is the subject of concern.

Now, on Monday ( dieting usually on Mondays), you decrease your food intake from 2.500 calories to, let us say, 500 calories. The hypothalamus does not care at all about your conscious decision ( to start dieting ). It only knows that it was administrating 2.500 calories, and then, ALL OF A SUDDEN, has to adjust the body metabolism to 500 calories.

Are you in a boat in the middle of the sea? Are you traversing a desert? Are you dieting in the middle of a big city? To your regulatory centres the external situation has no meaning. The only thing it knows is IT MUST ADJUST the metabolism for your survival. Thus, initially the hypothalamus produces two substances: adrenaline and noradrenalin, which are very powerful fat-mobilizing hormones.

In the long run secretion of these substances as a downside: they release fat from fat reserve deposits, which are easily available for metabolic purposes. In the long run, when all reserve fat has been exhausted, the organism should begin the uptake of metabolising the fat unavailable on a typical daily basis ( known as adipose fat, characteristic to obesity).

By the time the organism resorts to these adipose fat deposits, unavailable for typical daily consumption are mobilized. Thus patients do not feel weak, tiered or irritable. Only adipose fat is lost.

But we need to inform your regulatory Centres that a period of food deprivation is coming. Therefore, we recommend eating anything you want and in great quantities 1-2 days before starting your diet. If you are very strict on this procedure, you will feel excellent from the first treatment day. If not it will take 3-4 days after initiating your diet to enjoy the multiple benefits the treatment can provide.

2. Will I tolerate a very low calorie diet?

Yes, you will. Perfectly. This treatment has been given to professional dancers, Olympic athletes, body builders, etc. and they have all felt excellent throughout the entire treatment.

3. What if this is my XXXX attempt to lose weight and I do not succeed?

This is not a surgical procedure where you lay upon the operating table, anesthetized and when you wake up all the job has been done for you.

4. Is HCG safe enough?

HCG is a polypeptide produced in huge amounts during pregnancy. Only a tiny amount of HCG is used during a course of treatment. When properly applied, the HCG method for weight loss has no side effects or contraindications whatsoever.

5. What could be the side effects?

None. As far as is known and in twenty-five years of experience of using this method in centres around the world.

6. Would there be any complications in the long run?

When properly managed, none.

7. What can be expected during the first three treatment days?

If you haven't gorged enough you might experience during the second diet day a light headache that subsides with one painkiller and dose not run. You will also possibly feel the difference between the days before and after starting the diet.

If you gorged yourself, from the first treatment day on, you will feel fine and much better as days go by. The longer you stay on the treatment, the better you will feel ( a noticeable difference when compared to a standard Very Low Calorie Diet).
